PANDA BEAR & SONIC BOOM

Six years ago now, Sonic Boom left their home in England to move to Portugal, partly to be a little closer to Panda Bear. The unlikely duo met through MySpace almost 10 years ago, when Panda Bear expressed their gratitude to Sonic Boom’s former band Spacemen 3 in the credits of their classic Person Pitch, to which Sonic Boom responded with their own thanks.

Although this is not the first time they have worked together, Reset is their first joint release. Inspired by Sonic Boom’s 50s and 60s vinyl collection, the songs on Reset are as catchy and brilliant as anything Panda Bear or Sonic Boom have done in their own careers and serve as a testament to the power of complicity and collaboration.
