PONGO

Pongo has just released Sakidila, a debut album featuring world-class producers. Sakidila means “thank you” in Kimbundu, one of the languages of Angola, and takes shape as a howl from the young artist’s heart.

The album is a fusion of kuduro, afrobeats, favela funk and even afrofunk that demonstrates an ongoing effort to combine genres and languages as a method of breaking down cultural barriers and sets the tone for her debut album: powerful and addictive music to liven up any party and fill the club floors.
