Clara Peya

Clara Peya, considered one of the most prolific and ground-breaking pianists in the country, is pure energy and feeling. Musically unclassifiable, Peya swings between jazz, pop and electronica, always keeping the piano as a center of gravity and gathering inspiration from artists such as Samora Pinderhughes, RY X, Patrick Watson, Douglas Dare, Beady Belle, or established references such as Portishead or Björk. A tireless and tenacious activist, she was awarded with the 2019 National Culture Award for her music career and social commitment. After rounding off the tour of her album ‘Perifèria’ with a memorable ‘sold out’ in Sala Apolo, she is currently working on her next studio album.
